Last week, we had a client who agreed to participate in what we deemed ‘Case Study’. It’s En Syamil, who wants to build a website for his spa business. En.Syamil sat with us, discuss the layouts and designs of how or what he wants with his website, and also provide the contents he wants to put in the website. For his project, it’s a simple site; it’s very clean, static page, and the color that we use for the website are based on corporate colors.

The Process

We sit together with En Shamil, discuss about what kind the website that he has in mind, we also browsed the internet for what kind of style that he wants to use in his website project. After deciding everything, we did some frameworks; from point A to Z, how to build, develop, styles, layout, and etc. We also explained and show on how to upload/download the contents, editing or changing, and making sure that the necessary software are installed.

After that, we start building the website together with En.Shamil. In En.Shamil’s case, the whole process; designing, developing, uploading contents/materials (demonstrations by Maxhosting, contents by client) take about a few hours to finish. Along the way, we answered the inquiries asked, and also give a pointer or two on website management.

I personally feel that the concept of 1 day 1 website certainly can work out. When a client sit down with the web designer, client has an opportunity to give direct feedback of what he wants for his website. Correction can be done on the spot and it will save times.
