Dengan mengikut panduan Dreamweaver ini anda dapat membina Contact Form atau borang contact untuk mengumpul butir2 pelawat laman web anda dengan mudah:

Nota: Sebelum apa, pastikan anda muat turun PHP Form to Email Script, unzip dan upload fail FormToEmail.php ke server anda, contohnya kepada folder “public_html”.

Sekarang kita sudah bersedi untuk membina borang atau contact form, termasuk butir2, ke dalam laman web baru atau sediada. Untuk contoh ini kita akan create laman yang yang baru. Ok let’s start.

1. In Dreamweaver, pilih File > New.
2. Dalam senarai Blank Document, pilih HTML, dan klik Create untuk mulakan laman web HTML yang baru.
3. Masukkan tajuk laman web anda pada Title document toolbar anda. Secara default ia adalah Untitled Document.

4. Pilih File > Save, dan simpan dokumen anda sebagai ContactForm.htm.

5. Seterusnya kita akan masukkan form ke dalam dokumen ContactForm.htm. Pilih Insert > Form dan klik pada Form. Kotak Form akan buka untuk diisi. Pada ruang Action, type FormtoEmail.php (ini adalah nama fail yang anda extract daripada fail zip ini. Tukarkan Method kepada POST dan isi ContactForm pada ruang Name.

6. Untuk kumpul data pelawat kita anda ambil kira 3 perkara: 1. Text box untuk Nama, 2. Text box untuk email and akhirnya 3. Text area untuk komen. Untuk ini, klik pada dalam form object anda lalu klik Insert > Form > Label. Seterusnya klik Insert > Form > Text Field dan namakan text field sebagai name pada properties box di bawah.

Ulang langkah ini untuk tambah satu lagi Label dan Text Field dan namakannya email.

7. Tambah satu lagi label dan type in Comments. Selepas itu tambah Text Area, klik Insert > Form > Text Area. Namakan Text Area sebagai comments pada kotak properties and pada Character Width, taip 50 dan 10 pada Number of Lines.

8. Sekarang kita perlu tambahkan butang. Daripada top menu, klik, Insert > Form > Button. Code form anda patut merupai gambar berikut:

9. Sekarang kita perlu tukar beberapa garis code pada fail FormtoEmail.php. Buka fail ini dalam Dreamweaver. Garis pertama yang anda patut edit adalah garis yang bermula dengan $my_email.

Tukar alamat email itu kepada email address anda. Satu lagi garis yang anda perlu tukar adalah:

Ini adalah lokasi di mana pelawat anda akan dihantar selepas submit borang laman web anda.

10. Upload kedua2 fail kepada server laman web anda dan thats it. Test borang anda untuk memastikan semuanya berjalan dengan lancar.

• Open Outlook.
• Go to on “Tools/Account Settings”.
• Click “New” to start wizard.
• Make sure “Microsoft Exchange, POP3..” is selected and click “Next”.
• Don’t bother filling out the fields. Just select “Manually configure server settings…” and click “Next”.
• Make sure “Internet E-mail” is selected and click “Next”.
• Fill out all the information is shown and click on “More Settings” (another sub-window should open).
• Click on “Outgoing Server” tab and make sure you have the “My Outgoing Server Requires Authentication” enabled.
• Click on “Advanced” tab and make sure the outgoing server port number is set to to 2525 or 25. Some ISPs like streamyx block port 25 so you need to change it to 2525. Now click “OK”
• You can now test the settings by clicking “Test Account Settings” and make sure they all pass. If anything fails, you need to double check your settings and your internet connection to make sure you firewall or office network allows you to send/receive emails.
• Once successful, click “Next” and thats it. You should be able to send and receive emails.
